Job summary

Requirements include ARRT registration, Florida radiography license, and 1–2 years IR tech experience; BLS within 90 days and potential certification in Vascular/ Cardiovascular IR within 18 months. On-site role with flexible hours and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist certified through ARRT; Florida Radiography license.
• One to two years of IR technologist experience preferred, aseptic technique advantageous.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and independent work skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology within 18 months.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate electronic systems, imaging equipment, and supplies proficiently.
• Act as intraoperative first assist to radiologists and surgeons across various IR and vascular surgeries.
• Prepare interventional rooms, maintain sterile techniques, and assist during procedures.
• Obtain and record patient data, operate fluoroscopy and ultrasound, and acquire hemodynamic values.
• Perform image post-processing, quality control, and sterilization of instruments.
• Support advanced procedures like angioplasty, stenting, embolization, stroke interventions.
• Adhere to radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Provide patient-centered care and foster teamwork.
