Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a fast-paced IR department. You will assist physicians during minimally invasive procedures and provide patient care before, during, and after interventions.

Ideal candidates have IR experience in high-acuity settings, including stroke and trauma cases, and thrive in a collaborative procedural environment with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or an accredited Interventional Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT (R) certification and current BLS certification required.
• Previous interventional radiology experience preferred; ability to scrub and circulate IR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
• Perform scrub and circulating responsibilities during procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, sterile fields, equipment and supplies.
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and communicate changes to recovery staff.
• Accurately document procedural information, contrast usage, and charges.
