Job summary

Texas Health Resources seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a full range of vascular and interventional procedures in Bedford, TX. The PRN role requires expertise in fluoroscopy, CT, laser, and ultrasound equipment, with attention to radiation safety and patient positioning.

The position involves image post-processing, sterile technique, and collaboration with the IR team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Accredited radiologic or cardiovascular program or AS degree.
• Two years’ invasive cardiology experience with HS diploma.
• One year IR or Cath Lab experience preferred.
• ARRT certification required on hire.
• RCIS required if graduate from Cardiovascular program.
• LMRT preferred if RCIS only.
• RCES required for EP labs.
• BCLS and ACLS required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Position patients to obtain optimal image quality.
• Maintain sterile technique.
• Post-process images.
• Ensure radiation safety.
• Educate patients.
• Assist with patient care within scope of practice.
• Prepare sterile supply trays.
• Assist with passing guidewires, catheters, and sterile instruments.
• Manage inventory and coordinate schedules.
