Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the team at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. The role involves diversified clinical patient care under supervision, imaging, and assisting physicians in procedures.

Current MA RT licensure, BLS, and ARRT IR certification are required; ACLS is aPlus. On-site day shift with on-call rotation. Pay is based on experience with a comprehensive benefits package and sign-on bonus for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT Interventional Radiology certification RT(VI)/(CI)/(CV).
• Current MA RT licensure is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Post-primary IR certification and ACLS are preferred.
• Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island licensure acceptable.
• ARRT or CCI registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Manager, Interventional Radiology Clinical Services, perform diversified clinical patient care and related duties.
• Assess patients and document data in the EHR.
• Educate patients for exams and position patients with appropriate imaging equipment.
• Select technical factors/sequences to produce quality images with ALARA principles.
• Identify anatomy and evaluate image quality; assist physicians in procedures.
