Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. This role supports imaging exams, maintains image quality, and collaborates with the radiology team to ensure ALARA and patient safety. Evening shifts with weekend rotation offer 24–32 hours per week.

Required are an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT radiography certification, MA/RI licensure, and BLS. A new hire sign-on bonus of $8,000 is included for this position.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification.
• Current RT licensure in MA and/or RI required by location.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT registration and ongoing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified clinical imaging and patient assessments.
• Select imaging parameters to produce quality images while minimizing exposure.
• Educate patients about exams and ensure proper data documentation.
• Assist physicians and adhere to MR safety practices.
