Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington, GA seeks an Interventional Radiographer to join our radiology team. The role conducts diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, with image-guided drainage and biopsies.

Post-processing, documentation, and adherence to protocols for adolescent through geriatric patients are essential. Certifications include ARDMS/ARRT; RCIS; BCLS, with advanced VI or CI preferred.

Qualifications

• Education requirement as stated above.
• No prior work experience required.
• Licenses and certifications include ARDMS or ARRT registration; RCIS; BCLS; Advanced ARRT in VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, and modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes post-processing functions and related record keeping.
• Ensures use of established protocols and techniques across adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.

Education

Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program
