Job summary

Ascension in Evansville, IN, invites applications for a radiologic technologist in the Cardiac Cath Labs. The role centers on performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with emphasis on radiation safety and patient care.

You will work closely with Radiologists and PAs in a fast-paced interventional setting. The ideal candidate has ARRT/CCI credentials, 2+ years in high-acuity settings, and ACLS within one year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR an Associate's/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience.
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire date.
• Licensure/credential requirements include CCI Cardiographic Tech, ARRT Cardiac-Interventional, ARRT Vascular-Interventional or Radiography (within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Execute complex diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Ensure patient safety by managing radiation protocols and contrast administration.
• Optimize patient experience through precise positioning and compassionate monitoring.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and Physician Assistants during interventional procedures.
• Support continuous improvement by reviewing and refining clinical protocols.
