Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking an IVR Cath Lab Tech, a skilled Radiology Technologist with interventional radiology training to work in the Cath Lab. The role requires independent function during cases, sterile technique, radiation safety, and accurate procedure data recording.

Two years Cath Lab or IVR experience, AR license (or limited scope), ARRT/RCVT/RCIS, and current BLS are required; ACLS recommended for IVR. Work hours include 4 days per week, 0700–1730, plus call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved radiography or cardiovascular tech program.
• ARRT certification, or RCVT/RCIS.
• Arkansas Radiologic Technologist license or a limited scope license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must have two years of Cath Lab or IVR experience as a Radiologic Technologist and actively taking call.
• Cath Lab/EP Lab are required to have ACLS and IVR
• IVR is recommended to have ACLS.

Responsibilities

• The IVR Cath Lab Tech is a skilled Radiology Technologist with essential Interventional Radiology (IVR) and/or Cath Lab training. This role requires independent function during cases, utilizing proper sterile technique, radiation safety, and proficiency in procedure data recording.
• Effective communication is essential with patients, families, physicians, other staff, management, and all hospital employees.
