Job summary

Ascension's St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab professional for a full-time, day shift.

You will prepare and position patients, select anatomic and technical parameters, administer contrast media, and assist the Radiologist/PA during angiography and interventional procedures. Maintain patient safety by observing during procedures, reporting abnormalities, following radiation safety guidelines, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 1 month of hire date or transfer date.
• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from CCI before hire date or transfer date.
• ARRT Radiography credential within 6 months of hire date or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and regulations.
• Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity; monitor protocols and update as warranted.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform specialized imaging procedures (angio, complex vascular, nonvascular interventional) and assist Radiologist/PA.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
