Job summary

Covenant Health’s Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, part of Covenant Health, seeks an Registered Interventional Technologist in Interventional Radiology for a full-time day shift. A $20K sign-on bonus is offered for experienced candidates. The role involves diagnostic imaging, patient monitoring, and interventional lab support.

Experience with cardiac/vascular imaging and ARRT CV/VI registrations are preferred. Join a large team providing advanced care in East Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Working knowledge of cardiac cath procedures and cine film development.
• Familiar with sterile technique and physiological data systems.
• Able to respond to emergencies in interventional areas.
• Knowledge of life support and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct usage of cardiac and vascular imaging equipment.
• Monitor patients physiologically.
• Maintain aseptic technique within the sterile field.
• Generate and collect patient data accurately.
• Perform imaging processing and identify patient images and records.
• Assist with compliant coding and billing for procedures and supplies.
• Stay current with interventional cardiovascular developments.
