Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to assist with a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures under the fluoroscopy operator. The role covers patients from infancy to geriatric in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with Radiologic Technologist licensure.
• Valid Radiographer License for the State of Ohio.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT.
• ACLS or obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS Certification from AHA or obtained within probationary period.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-call hours on a rotating basis.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the fluoroscopy operator, assists with diagnostic and interventional procedures across vascular, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, interventional radiology, and neuroscience service lines.
• Cares for a patient population ranging from infancy to geriatric.
• Provides a safe and supportive care environment during fluoroscopy procedures.
• Functions in a multipurpose role per departmental needs and in line with MetroHealth policies and regulations.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of MetroHealth.
