Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technician to manage and coordinate patient care in the Radiology area. You will perform Interventional Radiology Procedures in collaboration with the medical staff and broader care team, ensuring age-appropriate care from pediatrics to geriatrics.

The role requires ARRT certification and CPR, with at least 1 year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of Human Anatomy and the recognition of cross‑section anatomy.

Job description

The Interventional Radiology technician is responsible for the management and coordination of patient care for the patients in the designated Radiology area. He/she accomplishes this responsibility through the performance of Interventional Radiology Procedures and in coordination and collaboration with the medical staff and other members of the patient care team. He/she provides care, which is consistent with the needs of the age of the population served. Patients include inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients. Population of these patients varies from pediatrics to geriatric patients.]

$15,000 Sign on Bonus.

Minimum Qualifications:
