Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, including angiography and GI studies, with emphasis on post-processing and patient care. The role differentiates protocols for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Education requires AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program completion; ARRT/ARDMS registration and BCLS certification are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration upon hire and BCLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and GI studies; conducts post-processing and record keeping.
• Ensures use of established protocols and techniques suited to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

This position is Monday - Friday from 9 am - 5:30 pm. No weekends. Sign-on bonus available!

Responsibilities:

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
