Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Radiology Supervisory role to oversee technologists and imaging operations, ensuring safe, efficient, high‑quality patient care. You will coordinate daily workflow, assist with onboarding and coaching, and collaborate with radiologists and leadership to optimize services.

The role requires leadership experience, BLS, ARRT (RT(R) or RN), and a focus on quality improvement and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required).
• Associate degree (Preferred).
• BLS + RT(R)/RN required or ARRT equivalent.
• RT(VI) ARRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical resource to technologists, students, and staff.
• Monitor compliance with policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of technologists, support staff, and imaging operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
• Coordinate daily workflow and staffing assignments, balancing patient volumes, technologist availability, and room utilization.
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, training, and ongoing competency assessment of technologists and new hires.
• Support leadership in performance management through the talent care process, performance reviews, and coaching opportunities for team member development.
• Collaborate with radiologists, leadership, and other departments to facilitate timely and coordinated services.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including image quality audits, repeat analysis, and process improvement projects.
• Ensure proper equipment functionality and coordinates preventative maintenance.
• Participates in scheduling, timekeeping, and supply inventory management to support operational efficiency and budget goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages such as IDX, Radworks, Current PACS application. [Required]
• Ability to learn and use basic supervisory skills such as team building, all required HR functions and effective communication. [Required]
• Attend the core leadership development classes. [Required]
• Possess the ability to instruct, guide and mentor the modality staff with a positive, supportive attitude. [Required]
• Supports all hospital and administration initiatives for customer service, patient care and interdepartmental cooperation. [Required]

Pay Range:

$31.86 - $59.27
