This full-time position includes training with graded autonomy under supervision of an interventional radiologist and involves patient education, image review, and procedure support.

Starting compensation ranges from $110,000 to $150,000 annually, with potential for additional productivity-based pay and department plans.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented candidate for obtaining patient information and positioning for procedures.
• Compassionate approach to anxious patients undergoing procedures.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods in operating rooms.
• Strong communication to explain procedures and instructions to patients.

• Ability to interpret basic imaging; skill will develop with experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist interventional radiologists with procedures and pre/post care.
• Evaluate quality of images and report findings to supervising radiologist.
• Educate patients on procedures and expected outcomes.
• Triager IR consults and participate in initial patient evaluation.
• Maintain accuracy in patient information, positioning, and IV contrast injections.
