Job summary

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Radiology, is seeking a Nationally Certified Radiology Physician Assistant for a Full-Time Interventional Radiology opportunity. The RPA will work under supervision of a licensed interventional radiologist and assist with procedures, evaluations, and patient education.

Compensation ranges from $110,000 to $150,000 annually; benefits include retirement, medical/dental coverage, vacation, CME funds, relocation assistance, and malpractice

Qualifications

• Must be nationally certified as a Radiology Physician Assistant.
• 1–3 years of radiology experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to interpret basic imaging in developing department experience.
• Excellent patient communication and teamwork required.
• Ability to stand for long hours in operating rooms.

Responsibilities

• Assist interventional radiologists with procedures and triage IR consults.
• Educate patients on upcoming procedures and post-procedure care.
• Evaluate images and report findings to supervising radiologist.
• Work independently and with the team after training period.
