Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Registered Nurse with an active Rhode Island RN license and IR nursing experience for an Interventional Radiology contract assignment in Providence, RI. The role supports body and neuro cases, including stroke interventions, with on-site shifts and 1–2 nights of on-call per week.

The schedule features 7:00am-5:30pm or 8:00am-6:30pm shifts, on-call within 30 minutes, and a weekend rotation every 5–8 weeks. Strong clinical skills and adaptability are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Rhode Island
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
• Experience assisting in body and neuro cases including stroke interventions
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to accommodate varied shifts and on-call requirements
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communications skills

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care during IR procedures
• Collaborate with radiology and medical teams to ensure seamless case management, including data collection and technical support
• Respond efficiently to acute events and support procedures involving neurological and stroke interventions
• Adhere to stringent patient safety and infection control protocols
• Accurately document procedure details and patient outcomes
• Participate in team briefings, workflow improvement, and cross-disciplinary education
