Job summary
HCA Florida Aventura Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse – Diagnostic Imaging to provide high-quality nursing care in Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures. You will assess, plan, and implement patient care, monitor physiologic data, and collaborate with physicians on patient status and treatment responses.
You must hold a Florida RN license (or compact), BLS and ACLS, and have 1 year of acute care IR/ICU/CVICU/CATH Lab experience.
Qualifications
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- 1 year acute care experience in IR, ICU, CVICU, CATH Lab.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, evaluate, coordinate, and provide nursing care in Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures.
- Monitor, record, and analyze physiologic data during procedures; educate patients.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic results.
- Provide age-specific direct and indirect nursing care in accordance with Hospital policies.
