Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: BSN preferred.
• Experience: none.
• Licensure/Certification: RN licensed in Virginia; ACLS, PALS, BLS-HCP required.
• Other qualifications: keyboarding and computer literacy for EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Interventional Radiology and Neurointerventional Radiology.
• Assess patient condition and act in emergencies.
• Coordinate care and educate patients and families.
• Prepare patients for angiography, CT, and other procedures.
• Administer treatments and meds with EMR documentation.
• Assist with planning to reduce length of stay and improve outcomes.
