Steinberg-Diagnostic-Medical-Imaging in Las Vegas is seeking a Registered Nurse - Radiology / Interventional Radiology to provide compassionate patient care and ensure safety during imaging and interventional procedures.

You will work with Radiologists, Technologists, and a Nurse Manager to oversee assessments, moderate sedation, line management, and emergency response in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment.

Formación

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, ICU, or ER preferred).
• Demonstrated skill in moderate sedation administration, contrast reaction management, and IV placement.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently in a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsabilidades

• Patient Care & Sedation: Administer and monitor moderate sedation; conduct pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure recovery, delivering clear discharge instructions to patients and family members.
• Procedure Support: Assist physicians during specialized diagnostic exams and image-guided procedures (including CT biopsies, drains, and special procedures).
• Clinical Safety & Emergency Response: Monitor vital signs, manage IV lines, chest ports, and catheters, and maintain readiness to execute advanced life support during emergency situations.
• Documentation & Operations: Maintain accurate, timely charting; follow radiation safety and contrast administration protocols; assist with quality compliance and incident reporting within 24 hours.
