Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, located in Jamaica Plain, seeks an Interventional Radiology Nurse. This 24-hour per week position includes weekend rotation and an 8-hour Saturday shift.

You will care for patients undergoing interventional procedures with sedation, performing pre-procedure screening and ongoing monitoring. The Registered Nurse must be a Massachusetts-licensed BSN, with BLS and ACLS, strong IV skills, and critical care experience.

Qualifications

• BSN required and MA RN licensure.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required.
• ACLS required.
• Excellent IV skills and critical care experience are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients before, during and after interventional procedures with sedation.
• Assess, monitor and respond to patient conditions.
• Conduct pre-procedure phone screening for IR/IN patients.
• Uphold Patient and Family Centered Care in a Magnet-designated hospital.
