Job summary

Veterans Health Administration in West Roxbury is seeking a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology within the Nursing Service. This full-time IR nurse will support radiology procedures, monitor sedation, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or Diploma in Nursing with active licensure; BSN or MSN with BSN may be preferred. ICU/CCU experience and strong assessment skills are valued. Flexible schedule with on-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and eligible for state licensure.
Current, full, active, and unrestricted nursing license in the U.S. or District of Columbia.
Experience in medical/surgical and ICU/critical care preferred.
Standing licensure requirements and GNT provision may apply for certain pathways.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients undergoing radiology procedures and monitoring.
Administer and monitor moderate sedation and post-sedation recovery.
Document treatments in CPRS and maintain safety and dignity of patients.
Work schedule includes days with rotating shifts and on-call requirements.
