Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
No experience required; new graduates eligible.
Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform patient assessments including data collection on physical and health history.
Evaluate developmental age during assessments and education.
Organize patient data to form a care plan and identify outcomes.
Carry out care plans to achieve outcomes.
Provide care based on severity and patient needs; coordinate with team.
Oversee activities of ancillary and support staff.
Identify teaching opportunities and provide resources for education.
Communicate concerns to the Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, or physician.
Document patient care and concerns in the patient record.
