Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking an RN in Interventional Radiology to provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing interventional procedures. This fast-paced role requires strong clinical judgment and clear communication with patients and teams.

The position is based in Glen Oaks, NY on a per diem/contract schedule, with a pay range of $52–$90 per hour. ADN is required, BSN preferred; NY RN license and BLS certification required, with additional certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in interventional radiology or related specialty.
• Current NY RN license and BLS certification required, with additional certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's physiologic health status.
• Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
• Assess various health domains (GI, CV, respiratory, renal, neuro).
• Assess mobility, sensory deficits, prostheses use, and skin condition.
• Assess pain level and pain management; document plan of care.
