Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license.
• Experience in interventional radiology or acute care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency in assisting IR procedures, monitoring, and sedation.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after IR procedures.
• Monitor vital signs during invasive imaging or therapeutic procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and technologists for safe procedures.
• Manage conscious sedation, administer medications, and document accurately.
• Educate patients and families on procedure details and post-care.
• Uphold infection control standards and maintain a safe environment.
