Job summary

Scripps Health in Encinitas is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology with 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities include peri-procedural preparation, conscious sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and post-procedure recovery for IR and Cath Lab patients.

Minimum 1 year RN experience in cath lab/ICU/ED, CA license, English proficiency, BLS/ACLS; incentives apply for new hires and relocation. This role offers a benefits-eligible PT schedule and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
• Current CA RN License.
• NIHSS required within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year recent RN experience in Cath Lab/ICU/ED with sedation.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Administer conscious sedation drugs.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during the procedure.
• Provide post procedure monitoring including phase 2 recovery for IR and Cath Lab patients.
