Job summary

Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh is seeking a Radiology RN to join the Radiology Special Procedures team. You will provide professional nursing care in a perioperative setting, circulating during invasive procedures and delivering moderate sedation while collaborating with radiologists and technologists in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN PA license in good standing.
• Minimum one year ICU or Radiology RN experience.
• Must live within 30 minutes of Allegheny General for call.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance.
• CPR - American Heart Association.
• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-procedural assessment.
• Participates in the care of patients undergoing Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Provides proper documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards and requirements.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients during their Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology procedures.
