StrideCare in Maryland is seeking a Registered Nurse to monitor and care for patients during Interventional Radiology and Vascular procedures. The nurse liaises among patient, physicians, and family, and becomes familiar with IR and vascular functions.

Ideal candidates hold an Associates or BSN with ACLS/BLS and experience in IR or Cath Lab; two years of sedation experience preferred. The role requires strong communication and leadership, with focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in Maryland.
• Two years of moderate sedation administration and recovery.
• Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience preferred.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Prepare patients and check labs/history.
• Administer drugs including moderate sedation.
• Insert and remove IV lines.
• Educate patients and families.
• Supervise nonprofessional staff as needed.
• Ensure safety and comfort of patients.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.
