Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System seeks an experienced Radiology Nurse to provide professional nursing care in a high-acuity radiology environment. You will deliver patient-centered care during Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI, ultrasound and general radiology procedures, administer moderate sedation, and coordinate with the Radiology team to ensure safe, quality outcomes.

Requires BSN or higher within set timeframe, FL RN license, ACLS/BLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale certification, and ability

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred within specified timeframe as per policy.
PALS certification within 6 months of hire date.
Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
Moderate Sedation and IV competency credentials required or to be obtained within 90 days.
NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of department orientation.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to radiology patients in high-acuity settings.
Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
Collaborate with Radiology Interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality outcomes.
Coordinate care for trauma or stroke patients and manage hemodynamic monitoring.
