Job summary

Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will assess, plan, and execute comprehensive nursing care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requires CA RN license, 1–3 years' IR/Cath Lab and critical care experience, BLS/CPR, ACLS, and a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing RN required, upon hire.
• 1–3 years experience in IR/Cath Lab procedures and 1–3 years of Critical Care experience, upon hire.
• Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR), upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists the imaging team in the provision of all imaging services, including patient preparation, sedation, monitoring and recovery.
• Utilizes the nursing process for the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
• Multi-tasks, organizes, and prioritizes patient care utilizing an efficient, concise and goal-oriented process.
• Performs case preparation and intra-operative case execution for department needs.
• Performs documentation on unit and patient records that is timely, accurate and concise.
• Initiates and investigates needed repairs, missing equipment, supplies and other pertinent areas and follows through to ensure resolution.
