Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care around image-guided procedures. You will work with radiologists, technologists, and nurses to ensure safe, efficient care from pre-procedure assessments through post-procedure recovery.

The role emphasizes high-quality nursing, patient education, rapid response to emergencies, and ongoing professional growth within a dynamic clinical setting in Texas.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Interventional radiology or a critical care setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in intravenous therapy, patient assessment, and medication administration.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.
• Commitment to maintaining current certifications and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care for interventional radiology procedures, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and other healthcare professionals for safe patient care.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Administer medications, contrast agents and IV sedation per protocols.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care requirements.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes in the electronic health record.
• Maintain sterile environments and assist with setup and infection control.
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance for interventional radiology nursing.
