Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO, is seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology nurse to provide specialized care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure stages. You will coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient patient care aligned with Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/ALS certification may be required based on position/unit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-procedure assessments and educate patients and families.
• Monitor patient status throughout care and assist physicians during procedures.
• Administer medications and moderate sedation; maintain a safe procedural environment.
• Provide post-procedure recovery care and coordinate discharge, admission, or transfer as needed.
