Paris Regional Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Interventional Radiology in Paris, Texas. Qualifications

• Current state RN license and ADN from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Texas RN/LVN license (single-state) or compact.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, delegate and coordinate nursing care for assigned patients during shift.
• Identify actual and potential needs through nursing assessment to guide plan of care.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies and life-threatening situations.
• Document assessment, plan of care, interventions, and patient/family response in EMR.
• Assist other personnel in delivery of care.
• Observe nursing staff and report concerns to department leader.
• Communicate and document care via huddles, briefs, and bedside reports.
• Provide patient/family education using teachback and document outcomes.
• Deliver care according to standards of Care and Practice.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)

BSN Preferred

ASLS/Handle with Care certification preferred

Texas RN/LVN license (single-state or compact required)
