Job summary

Hartford HealthCare’s Greater Manchester Region seeks a Radiology RN Clinician to provide nursing care before, during, and after radiology procedures, including sedation and IV therapy, in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The role reports to the Manager of Vascular and Cardiology Services.

The RN Clinician will participate in quality improvement, policy maintenance, and educational initiatives while supporting departmental operations and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in cardiac monitoring, administration of moderate sedation and be IV competent.
• Must have strong verbal and written English communication skills to interface with staff and instruct patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition and care needs on admission and ongoing.
• Document nursing processes in a timely manner and serve as a resource on documentation issues.
• Plan nursing actions to ensure patient-centered care with multidisciplinary input.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education.
• Accept on-call responsibilities for the Medical Imaging Department.
