Job summary

The University of Texas Medical Branch in League City seeks an Advanced Beginner Clinician RN to provide patient care and support nursing practice across the unit. Qualifications

• RN with six months of clinical RN experience and/or successful completion of probationary NC I period documented on nursing evaluation tool.
• Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse license or valid permit to practice in Texas.
• Current BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents the daily care of assigned patients.
• Executes physician's orders, administers medications and treatments, and delivers nursing care per UTMB policies and standards.
• Provides patient/family teaching based on learning needs and uses Teach‑Back to confirm understanding.
• Plans, coordinates, and prioritizes patient care activities with the inter‑professional team.
