Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join Interventional Radiology. This full-time position offers a 40-hour workweek with on-call duties once a week and every forth weekend, depending on scheduling needs.

The successful candidate will show strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a board-approved nursing program.
• Active RN license in the applicable state.
• BLS certification at minimum; additional certifications may be required.
• Experience with nursing process and patient care planning.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives.
• Assesss, plans, diagnoses, implements, and evaluates nursing care with families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans and collaborates with the team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and timely documentation in EHR.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
