Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care for diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. The role involves close collaboration with physicians and the IR team, patient assessment, monitoring, medication administration, procedural support, and post-procedure recovery in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas (e.g., NICU).
• 1 year nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Utilizes data to anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized nursing equipment and records cardiac rhythms from monitors and devices.
• Responds to life-threatening situations per nursing standards and protocol.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to plan and manage patient care.
• Documents patient care per regulatory standards and unit policies.
