Job summary

Athens Radiology Associates in Georgia seeks a Physician Assistant for an Interventional Radiology role. This full-time position involves Monday–Friday duties with one weekend of call per month and a focus on procedure-based IR work.

Responsibilities include obtaining informed consents, histories, physicals, and performing image-guided procedures such as PICC lines, ports, thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, lumbar puncture, and arthrography. Fluoroscopy and DEXA dictation are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Eligible for Georgia state license and DEA.
• ACLS/BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in image-guided procedures (PICC, Ports, thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, lumbar puncture, arthrography).
• Perform fluoroscopic exams (Upper GI, Barium Swallow) and dictate DEXA studies.
• Obtain informed consent, take histories and perform physicals.
