Job summary

Athens Radiology Associates is seeking a Physician Assistant for a full-time Interventional Radiology position in the Athens area. Expect Monday–Friday scheduling with one weekend of on-call per month.

The PA will obtain informed consents, take histories and perform various image-guided procedures, including PICC lines, ports, thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, lumbar puncture, and arthrography, along with fluoroscopic imaging studies and DEXA dictation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Eligible for Georgia state license and DEA.
• ACLS/BLS.

Responsibilities

• Obtain informed consents, histories and physicals for patients.
• Perform image-guided procedures such as PICC, ports, thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, lumbar puncture, arthrography.
• Conduct fluoroscopic exams including Upper GI and Barium Swallow studies and dictate DEXA studies.
