Job summary

Trinity Health in Athens, GA seeks a Part-time Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech to assist fluoroscopy-guided procedures and patient care. The role requires effective communication with the physician team, safe patient handling, and equipment operation.

You will position patients, acquire images, and send studies to PACS, coordinating closely with the operator to support diagnosis and treatment. On-call readiness within 30 minutes, BLS, and AMA-approved radiology training are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Radiology program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Able to respond on-site within 30 minutes when on-call.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to acquire real-time views.
• Send images to PACS and communicate findings clearly.
• Transport patients to and from procedural areas as needed.
• Coordinate with physician operator during procedures to ensure safety.
• Administer contrast media under physician direction and monitor for reactions.
