AMN Healthcare seeks an Interventional Radiology Physician for locum tenens support at a United States hospital. Start date ASAP with a pay rate of $363.75–$393.75 per hour. Flexible scheduling with 9 hours on-site and 15 hours of unrestricted call.

Credentialing typically takes 60–90 days. This role involves advanced IR procedures such as angiography/venography, angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, embolization, and image-guided biopsies or drainages.

Qualifications

• Residency in Radiology is required.
• Fellowship in Interventional Radiology or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform angiography/venography, angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, embolization procedures.
• Include image-guided biopsies and drainage procedures as needed.
• Manage a schedule with on-site shifts and unrestricted call coverage.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Radiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Job Settings:Hospital
• Modalities:No diagnostic reads. Procedures: angiography/venography, angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, embolization (UAE, GI bleed/TIPS, tumor), IVC filter placement/retrieval, image-guided biopsies, drainage (abscess, biliary, nephrostomy, para/thoracentesis).
• Shift/Schedule/Hours:Flexible. 7-day stretch preferred. 9 hours on-site and 15 hours of unrestricted call
• Dates Needed:As soon as possible
• Credentialing Timeframe:60-90 days
• Certifications Required:Radiology residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship, or sufficient experience for the requested procedures.
