Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Interventional Radiology physician for locum tenens coverage in Waterbury, CT. The role covers a standard 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, with credentialing expected within 30–60 days.

Start date is ASAP; duties include IR, CT, and ultrasound modalities as needed. Malpractice insurance is typically arranged, with travel and lodging support provided by AMN. Strong IR boards and ACLS/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified radiology physician required.
• Advanced cardiovascular life support and basic life support certifications.
• Experience with interventional radiology procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures in a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical teams to ensure patient care.
• Maintain credentialing and adhere to hospital protocols.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Radiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Job Setting: Hospital
• Modalities: Interventional Radiology, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound (if the physician can interpret Cardiac Computed Tomography studies, that would be very helpful as well, but it is not required).
• Shift/Schedule/Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Dates Needed: As soon as credentialed for an ongoing need.
• Credentialing: 30- 60 Days
• Certifications Required: Board Certification, Board Certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Basic Life Support.
