Purposelink Recruitment is seeking an Interventional Radiology Physician for a hospital-based, full-time contract with an on-call rotation. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule and on-site IR coverage in a respected healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include performing angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, biliary interventions, CT/ultrasound-guided biopsies, and central line insertions, with collaboration across medical staff.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (MD or DO) required.
• 1+ years of experience in interventional radiology or cardiology.
• Valid licenses/certifications: ARRT or Board Certified.
• BLS certifications: ARC BLS or AHA BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site care and on-call consultation for Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Perform a wide range of procedures, including: Angiography, Balloon angioplasty, Stent placement, Biliary interventions, CT-guided and ultrasound-guided biopsies, Central line placement, Chemoembolization, Dialysis access interventions, Drain and tube placements/exchanges, Embolization, IVC filter placement, Lumbar puncture, Myelograms, Paracentesis, Radiologically inserted gastrostomy, Thoracentesis, Vertebroplasty, and Joint injections.
• Provide pre-procedure planning, consultation with referring physicians, and post-procedure evaluation and follow-up.
• Manage complications and ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and required clinical/administrative activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Cardiology – Interventional
  • Radiology
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Board Certified
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

SCHEDULE & SHIFT DETAILS

Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PMShared on‑call coverage:

• Weekdays: 4:30 PM–12:00 AM
• Weekends & holidays: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
