Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Active PA licensure in states of practice; DEA permit to prescribe.

Responsibilities

• Perform IR procedures under supervision of an IR Radiologist (e.g., paracentesis, thoracentesis, thyroid biopsies).
• Chest tube placement/removal and other tube checks; inpatient rounding on IR patients after procedures.
