Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston seeks a Physician Assistant to join the Interventional Radiology team on a full-time basis. The PA will assess and manage ambulatory and inpatient patients, perform consults, and participate in the continuum of IR care from pre-procedure to follow-up.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's in PA studies, MA license, and can work 4x10s with occasional Saturday shifts on the MGH Main Campus at 90 Blossom Street.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant required.
• Licensed Physician Assistant in Massachusetts (MA).
• Strong clinical skills and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, counseling, and teaching in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings.
• Perform complete histories and physical examinations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develop care plans and follow-up based on diagnostic results.
• Order medications and write prescriptions according to policies.
• Provide timely documentation including admissions, progress notes, procedure notes and discharge summaries.
• Perform bedside procedures as appropriate.
