Job summary

Lancesoft INC is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant to join a hospital-based procedural team in Arlington, Virginia. The role focuses on patient evaluation, peri-procedural management, and collaboration with Interventional Radiologists to deliver minimally invasive care.

The ideal candidate will have NCCPA certification, a Virginia PA license (active or eligible), and DEA certification or eligibility, with prior IR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA Certification.
• Active or eligible Virginia PA license.
• DEA certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
• Evaluate patients before and after interventional procedures.
• Round on hospitalized patients and coordinate treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery.
• Document patient encounters and procedural care accurately.
• Perform procedures within credentialed scope of practice.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development.
