The PA will diagnose and treat injuries or disease, perform patient assessments, manage and educate patients, and participate in pharmacology and clinical decision making related to radiology.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the state.
• Approved by the medical staff.
• Successful of all required orientation programs.

Responsibilities

• Attend outpatient clinic and participates in initial evaluation and longitudinal care.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Demonstrates appropriate level of medical knowledge, proficiency in obtaining history and physicals, developing diagnoses, prescribing appropriate treatment plans and executing proper treatment modalities.
• Prepare patients for IR procedures, including education, positioning, and preparation of equipment.
