NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital invites a Physician Assistant to join the Interventional Radiology team. This full-time, dayshift position at our Brooklyn campus focuses on pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care with a collaborative team of radiologists, nurses, and technologists.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, patient education, and ongoing participation in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• IR experience required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physician Assistant studies.
• Active NYS PA licensure.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• ACLS/BLS.
• NYS Infection Control certification.
• DEA certification with NYS Opioid Prescriber training compliance.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to provide comprehensive IR patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records before, during, and after procedures.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, risks, and post-procedure care instructions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay updated on interventional radiology advances.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain sterile environments during procedures.
• Stay current with licensure and participate in trainings and conferences.
