Qualifications
At least 1 year experience in a hospital radiology department.
One-Two years experience in a hospital radiology department preferred.
Experience in O.R., Biopsies or other invasive procedures desirable.
Responsibilities
Perform imaging procedures using angiography and other equipment.
Ensure high quality images for diagnosis.
Maintain supplies required for individual procedures.
Perform record keeping functions using HIS, RIS, PACS.
Provide quality and compassionate patient care.
Skills
Proficient in routine IR imaging techniques
Knowledge of computer/PACS applications
Organizational skills
Communication/customer service skills
Understanding of anatomy and physiology
Education
Graduation from A.M.A. approved Radiologic Technology program
AS degree required, BS degree preferred
