Job summary

The Staff Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology at Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ provides direct patient care in accordance with established policies. You will create a positive care experience, coordinate with physicians and team members, and document care in the Electronic Health Record.

Required: BSN and NJ RN license with current BLS; IR experience preferred; ACLS/PALS optional during orientation. Shifts are days, 8:45am-5:15pm, with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current NJ RN license and BLS required.
• Current Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS can be offered during orientation.
• Specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that leads to a positive patient care experience by evaluating, planning and implementing effective plans of care and communicating with both patients and their families.
• Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care in an acute or clinic setting.
• Make sound decisions in response to changes in condition/treatment while maintaining a calm demeanor.
• Utilize the Electronic Health Record to document patient care.
• Coordinate with physicians and team members regarding changes in patient status, symptoms, results of tests and critical values.
